Thornwood Construction was founded in 2011 by the owner after working as a general contractor on his own home.  From 2011 thru 2017 Mr. Ryan was a partner at a successful Downers Grove general contracting firm, where he served as the full-time business manager and part-time project manager.

On January 1, 2018, after a successful tenure with the previous general contractor, Mr. Ryan made the decision to start his own general contracting business.

A driving business principle of Thornwood Construction is to limit the number of projects active at any one time to two.  Consciously minimizing the number of active projects allow us to provide dedicated focus on your project, which increases the overall quality and improves your satisfaction.
